Easter Fun

Alright, y'all...as I start my first adventure into the world of blogging, I really wanted to start with something fun. As you can probably guess, I LOVE calligraphy. And guys, I love all of the dreamy, light-filled, romantic styled-shoots that are so often accompanied with calligraphy pieces of that same style. But as I was dreaming up my first mini-shoot for this post, I thought "let's just do something totally out of your comfort zone" - JUST GO FOR IT, ya know? So here it is: colorful, adorable, maybe a bit silly? Let's just take full advantage of all the peeps, saturated pastels and bunny ears we can get our hands on.

Hosting an Easter Brunch? Why not use eggs as place cards? Just grab a paint pen and get to writing! P.S. this idea only came about after a failed attempt to paint eggs with acrylic paint. Woops. Note-to-self: acrylic paint does not dry on eggs.

Okay, friends. This is a totally cute idea and actually super easy. Just cut strips of paper, write your guests' names and than use a toothpick to attach the name cards through the peeps!
